Designation: Socks & Knitting Technician

Job Category: Technical Engineer

Qualification: High School Diploma or GED required or other relevant and applicable garment knitting fields.Must be able to work 2nd shift (2 pm – 10 pm) or 3rd shift (10 pm – 6 am) Basic machine repair knowledge a must. Ability to make major repairs or changes a plus.

Experience: 3-7 Years

Annual Salary: $ 600-$1000/ plus health insurance, accommodation, air tickets.

Technical Skills: We expect you to To keep knitting machines operating in good working order by performing required/needed maintenance.
Follow proper procedures to ensure product is knit to specifications.
Follow all ISO procedures and quality checks as required.
Work toward meeting the production and quality goals as set by management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Install, setup/sizing of different styles/series on machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of socks knitting machines.
• Maintain knitting machines while conducting trial runs to sustain production needs.
• Used to produce socks, hosiery, activewear sportswear and similar.
• Identify and repair processing errors on knitting equipment
• Assist the knitter to Inspect yarns tickets, fabrics, creeling, inspection and paperwork.
• Manage independent as well as in a tem, assisting them on shift by helping when resources are needed
• Adjust machine settings to meet design specifications
• Complete all required documentation and the accuracy of that information.
• Keep machines cleaned and functioning.

Soft Skills:
• Ability to be a team player and work parallel with sales, marketing and other departments.
• Excellent communication skills to handle clients, explain technical queries in lay-man language and make clients feel comfortable about the entire technical process involved in manufacturing our products
• Follow-up with team members and skilled workers involved in core functionalities like weaving, knitting, etc.
